The International School of Healing Arts (ISHA), headquartered in San Diego, California provides training in massage, holistic health, hyponotherapy, nutritional counseling and other subject areas. The goal of all programs at this healing arts school is to provide students with a comprehensive knowledge of a variety of holistic health topics for both personal and professional gain. The school's primary home is in southern California, but there are also campuses in four other U.S. states (Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois and Wisconsin), as well as international locations in the Czech Republic, Thailand, Serbia and the Ukraine. Students at the Hawaii campus benefit from a unique partnership between the International school of healing Arts and the Maui Academy of the Healing Arts (MAHA) that allows them to enroll in MAHA classes and then apply the credit they earn to their studies at ISHA. Individuals enrolled in this program receive a thorough education in western, eastern and Hawaiian style of massage.

The comprehensive program in holistic health and massage therapy at the International School of Healing Arts can be completed in about 1,000 hours. Other programs (such as the Eternal Spring Chi Kung Instructor course) can be completed in as few as 100 hours. Training programs at the International School of Healing Arts are certified or approved by a number of professional organizations. Students who complete the Zen-Touch practitioner program, for example, may be eligible to receive national certification from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and oriental medicine (NCCAOM). The National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) has also approved the International School of Healing Arts as a continuing education provider. Registered nurses in California may be able to earn continuing education credits for their studies at the school, and the Department of Veterans Affairs has approved the school to train eligible veterans. The International School of Healing Arts is also authorized to enroll certain non-immigrant students.
