Located on the Hawaiian island of Maui, the International University of Professional Studies has been serving students in its current for over a dozen years. Before that, the Hawaii School has its origins in the Pacific University of Hawaii, which was founded in 1988.

Today, the International University of Professionals Studies offers programs in tenmajor areas of study. They are as follows: consciousness studies, integrated health sciences, expressive arts therapy, holistic psychology, somatic and spiritual psychology, transpersonal psychology, professional coaching and human development, transformational education, and organizational development and transformation.

Most of this Hawaii school's programs are offered as master's programs, doctorate programs, and combined master's/doctorate programs. Students may also earn credits towards these programs by completing courses at institutions of high learning. In general, the length of time it takes to complete a program at the International University of Professional Studies will vary depending upon the student.
