Located in Rhode Island, the International Yacht Restoration School is unique educational institution that's devoted to teaching students both the historical and practical aspects of yachts. Students will learn everything from yacht building, restoration, and maintenance, to the history and art of yachts.

Towards this end, the International Yacht Restoration School boasts certificate and continuing education programs. While the certificate program in marine systems requires one year of study, the boatbuilding and restoration certificate program is two years long. The continuing educations courses, meanwhile, provide fast training designed to get students skills in specific areas that employers look for, e.g. coatings application, woodworking, and system installation.

International Yacht Restoration School students may qualify for financial aid from a number of sources, including: the Federal Pell Grant Program, Sallie Mae Career Training Loans, Rhode Island Family Education Loan Program, and the Direct Federal Stafford Loan Program.
