Inver Hills community college has served the community for more than 30 years by providing higher education opportunities to meet diverse needs. Founded in 1970, Inver Hills Community College is a comprehensive two-year institution that offers over 20 degree options. Such options at Inver Hills Community College include liberal education courses (A.A.) that lead to transfer to four-year colleges and career-related degrees (A.S., A.A.S.) in leading occupational areas such as nursing, computers, law enforcement, business, emergency health care, and more. Students enjoy their experience at Inver Hills while attending classes on the 90-acre campus surrounded by wooded hills and wetlands.

Inver Hills Community College students come from the entire state of Minnesota and western Wisconsin (and even a dozen foreign countries). However, the most significant portion of students at Inver Hills Community College is from within a 20-mile radius of the campus. Inver Hills Community College recognizes that the need for higher education and training is more important than ever in a changing economy, a changing workforce, and a changing world.
