The Jewish Theological
seminary (JTS) is known as the academic and spiritual home of Conservative Judaism throughout the world. Students who enroll at the Jewish Theological
seminary are interested in preparing for religious, educational, academic, or lay careers in the Jewish community, as well as the greater world community.
The two academic schools within the Jewish Theological Seminary are the undergraduate Albert A. List College of Jewish Studies and the
Graduate School, while the three professional schools are the William Davidson Graduate School of Jewish Education, the Rabbinical School, and the H. L. Miller Cantorial School and College of Jewish Music. In addition to offering outstanding academic and professional programs on its own campus on Broadway in New York, the Jewish Theological Seminary also maintains affiliations with other area schools, including
Columbia University and
Union Theological Seminary.
