John Wood community college is a comprehensive two-year institution of higher learning that is dedicated to enhancing the lives of students. Towards the fulfillment of these goals, this offers not only one-year certificate programs but two-year associate degree programs as well. With subjects ranging from economics, electrical technology, emergency services, and computer-aided design, to the Culinary Arts, early childhood education, law enforcement, and medical laboratory technology, there appears to be a subject to interest most any student. High schools students are also provided for with the dual enrollment program. By taking part in this program, students can earn credit for both high school and college while taking a college-level course.
