The Kenai Peninsula College system is part of the University of Alaska Anchorage. It has locations throughout the peninsula and in Anchorage. Kenai Peninsula College is comprised of: Kenai River Campus in Soldotna; Kachemak Bay Campus in Homer; Mining and Petroleum Training Service in Soldotna and Anchorage; Resurrection Bay Extension Site in Seward; and, the Anchorage Extension Site at the University Center.

Kenai Peninsula College has various degree offerings as part of its curriculum. This Alaska school offers two-year associates of arts and associates of applied science degrees, as well as courses leading to vocational certificates. There are also four-year degrees available. Programs leading to baccalaureate degrees, such as the Bachelor of Liberal Studies, Elementary Education, Psychology, Anthropology, and Fine Arts can usually be obtained entirely at Kenai Peninsula College. Others are available through distance learning at other University of Alaska campuses.
