Kendall College of Art & Design is a coeducational college of the visual arts. Incorporated in 1928, Kendall College of Art & Design is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design. In 2000, this Michigan art college completed a merger with
Ferris State University, which is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
The academic department at Kendall College of Art & Design offers bachelor's degree programs in the
fine arts, including Interior Design, Jewelry Design, Painting, and
photography. A Bachelor of Science in
art history and a Master of Fine Arts are also available.
Students in all programs have access to state-of-the-art resources. On-campus workspaces include studios, a furniture collection, darkrooms, goldsmithing benches, print labs, and more. Two galleries, the Kendall Gallery and the Student Gallery, display exhibitions by students and faculty. In addition, Kendall College of Art & Design offers on-site counselors and career services.
