Kent Career Technical Center provides high school students with real-world skills and the preparation to pursue further career-related college or technical training after high school. The career pathways include: Arts and Communications; engineering, Manufacturing and Industrial Technology; business, Management, Marketing and Technology; Natural Resources and Agriscience; Health Sciences; and Human Services.

Kent Career Technical Center offers 29 programs including accounting systems and solutions, auto collision repair, aviation maintenance technology, baking, banking and financial services, Cosmetology, criminal justice, graphic design, and power sports technology.

In order to receive hands-on training, Kent students provide some services to the general public including: brake service, tune-ups, and oil changes at the automotive service center; hair, nail, and esthetic services at the salon; and cookies, doughnuts, baked breads and brownies at the bakery.
