For more than 100 years, Kent State University has served the needs of students in the state of Ohio. Today the university boasts an eight-campus system, one of which is Kent State East Liverpool.

Founded in 1965, Kent State East Liverpool functions both as a community college and traditional four-year college in the area of East Liverpool. With its course offering of seven bachelor's degree programs and 11 associate degree programs, the Ohio College allows students the option of continuing to pursue higher education or focusing on the career training and preparation they need for entering the workforce. The bachelor's degree and Associate Degree programs that are offered cover such fields and subjects as legal assisting, nursing, business management, computer technology, accounting, justice studies, general studies, and occupational therapy.

Today, students of Kent State East Liverpool enjoy an intimate learning environment that boast an average class size of 18 students, and a student body with an average age of 27.
