With its location in North Canton, Kent State Stark is a regional campus of the Kent-based Kent State University. For more than 40 years it has served members of the Stark County Community, providing them with everything from an education to career preparation.

Today this Ohio College offers several different bachelor's degree programs in a variety of different fields, including: English, middle childhood education, nursing, psychology, business management, applied communication, general studies, and history. Kent State Stark also teaches all of the core courses that form the basis of Kent State University's undergraduate programs, and offers students the opportunity to earn either an associate of art or associate of science degree.

This Ohio college campus also has the distinct honor of offering an MBA program that has been accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of business (AACSB).

As of the autumn of 2007, more than 34,000 students were enrolled in Kent University, with nearly 4,000 students attending class at Kent State Stark.

Students of this Ohio college participate in such extracurricular groups and organizations as Business Student Leadership Society, Club Sunaarashi, Bible Club, New Music/Young Composers group, Debate Society, Computer Club, Talking Hands Club (ASL group), and Student Pagans Illuminating Religion and Learning (SPIRAL).

To apply to Kent State Stark, students must be able to present an ACT or SAT score. The only exceptions are if the student is over 21 years old, or has been out of high school for three years.
