Kine-Concept Institute, founded in Montreal in 1987, is an institution for the teaching and research of massage therapy. One of the largest schools of its kind in North America, it has seven bright, spacious, well-ventilated classrooms, six of which are dedicated to Swedish massage and massokinesitherapy, and one for Shiatsu massage. Kine-Concept Institute offers a wide range of courses in many disciplines related to massage therapy. Three main types of Kine-Concept programs include: massage therapy initation; professional training in massage therapy; and professional improvement or continuing education.

There are over 50 courses divided into five programs in the professional training in massage therapy program. The main courses total about 3,500 hours. For students who want to stay current with the latest professional trends, Kine-Concept Institute offers over 3,000 hours of graduate courses through the professional improvement/continuing education program.

All teachers are recognized graduates of massage therapy and massokinesitherapy with 1,000 to 2,200 hours of training. Kine-Concept students receive instruction from teachers and lecturers who are doctors, chiropractors, physiotherapists, massokinesitherapists, massage therapists, physical education instructors, physical rehabilitation therapists, psychologists, social workers and sexologists.
