Kohler Academy, a Pivot Point Member School, a Dermalogica Partnership Plus School, and the first and only Bumble and Bumble University Partner school in the world, seeks to trains students to become beauty industry professionals.

Students receive hands-on experience with real clients. The 1,600-hour Cosmetology Program takes 11 months to complete, and the 600-hour Skin Care Program requires a five month commitment. The program for cosmetology Educators is 650 hours and takes five months to complete, and the program for Skin Care Educators is 500 hours over four months.

Kohler Academy integrates a Life Skills program into both the cosmetology and Skin Care curricula. This program includes topics such as: Time Management Skills; Leadership Skills; Portfolio Development; Cultural Awareness; Conflict Resolution; Financial Management; Retail Economics and business Plan Development.

Quick Facts

Students are required to have a 95 percent attendance record and an 80 percent minimum GPA.

Classes at Kohler Academy are scheduled between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.
