Founded in 1939 as a Bible institute, Kuyper College is a Christian leadership college that trains students for ministry and service. This Michigan ministry college is accredited by the Association for biblical Higher education and the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The mission of Kuyper College is to prepare students for service as missionaries, educators, pastors, social workers, physicians, or leaders.

Kuyper College offers a wide range of bachelor's degree programs including social work and youth ministry. All students who complete a baccalaureate program will also earn a major in Bible and theology. In addition, students can pursue a collaborative bachelor of science degree by completing Bible studies at Kuyper College while completing their professional studies at a nearby college in Grand Rapids. Individuals from the community can also take evening and weekend classes for personal enrichment.

Kuyper College offers several intramural sports including flag football, volleyball, ultimate Frisbee, and pool. In addition, students can participate in campus events ranging from midnight bowling to mission trips. Chapel services, volunteer opportunities, and study groups are also available.
