Labette Community College

200 S. 14th Street
Parsons, KS 67357

Committed to providing members of the community with quality learning opportunities, Labette community college functions as a two-year institution of higher learning. Though this Kansas college only gained its current name in 1978, its roots trace back to the year 1923, when a two-year junior college by the name of Parsons Junior College was founded. This school would go on to grow and evolve into the comprehensive institution that we know today.

Since its days of preparing youth for entry into traditional four-year college and universities, this Kansas college has developed a variety of different programs and courses that are aimed at providing community residents with the education and/or training that they seek in life. As a result, Labette Community College offers more than just transfer degrees days; its offerings include professional and technical degrees and certificates, continuing education courses, business and industry training, and much more. Whether students interests lay in commercial music, Graphic Design, computer science, special education, financial service, psychology, or radiography, Labette Community College offers the programs that will help get them started on their career.
