Founded in 1831, LaGrange College is the oldest private Georgia college. IT is associated with the United Methodist Church, although students from all denominations are welcome to apply for admission to this Georgia college's undergraduate and graduate programs.

LaGrange College offers dozens of undergraduate majors in a variety of disciplines including accounting, art and design, computers, education, history, music, nursing, political science, religion, and theatre. LaGrange College's pre-professional programs are in engineering, law, medicine and Allied Health, optometry, pharmacy, physical therapy, theology/seminary, and veterinary medicine. The Georgia Methodist college also offers three graduate degree programs: the Master of Arts in Teaching, the Master of Education, and the Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership, which is offered at LaGrange College's Albany campus.

With a campus population of just over 1,100 students, LaGrange College offers an intimate environment that allows students to easily get involved on campus, as well as form strong relationships with faculty members.
