Lanier school of massage, founded in 1994, offers an 864-hour course of study that prepares students for careers as professional massage therapists.
The
Therapeutic Massage Therapist
certificate program at the Lake Lanier School of Massage equips students for jobs at rehabilitation centers, physical therapy clinics, pain clinics,
medical offices, spas and resorts, health clubs, and on cruise ships. Classes can take about nine months to a year for students to complete.
After completing the Therapeutic
massage therapy Program, students are expected to possess the necessary skills to take and pass the National Certification Examination for Therapeutic Massage and Body Work presented by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage.
