Lake Technical Center is a Florida postsecondary institution offering adult students the opportunity to receive career-technical training. Programs include Adult General
education, Applied
technology, Early Childhood Education, Health Science Education,
business and Information Technologies and Public Safety.
Short-term, part-time courses designed to meet the needs of industry and the community are offered through evening and weekend
vocational courses. Some Lake Technical Center classes are also available during daytime hours. Students can enroll to supplement their present job skills or to explore a new career. These continuing workforce education courses operate weekly, both on and off campus.

Lake Technical Center applicants must be sixteen years old and in the 11th grade or above to enter as a dual-enrolled high school student.
