Cosmetology & Therapeutic Bodywork, founded and incorporated in 1979, is a commuter school that prepares students for a career in personal services. Lancaster is located in a 10,000 square foot renovated school building with six classrooms and three student clinics.
There are about 65 full-time and 25 part-time students. Lancaster School of
cosmetology & Therapeutic Bodywork employs approximately 10 part-time instructors, and the student to faculty ratio is 13 to one. Students may choose from programs that include
cosmetology, esthetician, nail technician and
massage therapy.
After graduation, student employment options include: hair design; color technician; perm specialist; nail technician; estheticians; sales representative; platform artist; massage therapist; or research assistant.
