Community College offers more than 240 associate degree (two year) and certificate (less than two years) programs in a variety of career fields. LCC has nearly 2,500 different courses -- including
online, evening and weekend -- to provide the utmost in flexibility and convenience for its students. Transfer programs are in place to help students at Lansing
Community College have a smooth and successful transfer to the four-year college of their choice. Additionally, 3+1 articulation agreements exist between Lansing Community College and ten different universities, which provide three years of education at LCC and the final year at the university. And in fall 2007 the new University Center is opening on the Lansing Community College campus, enabling students to complete bachelor's and master's degree from eight partnering colleges on the LCC campus.
Lansing Community College enriches the lives of students both in and out of the classroom. Nearly 30 campus organizations and clubs are part of student life at Lansing Community College. LCC has seven intercollegiate athletic teams that compete regionally and nationally. LCC is also the home of WLNZ, the Lansing Public Radio Station. And Lansing Community College offers its students international study abroad experiences Japan, Germany, Ghana, Mexico, France, China, and Mongolia.
