Situated at the western edge of Laredo, approximately three-fourths of a mile of the Rio Grande River separates the Laredo Community College campus from Mexico. The College Connection, the Army ROTC, and TASP Resources are just a few of the different organizations and services that are part of the LCC community that can benefit students in many ways. And the Student Support Services program at Laredo Community College is designed to improve academic skills, increase graduation rates, facilitate transfer to four-year universities, and foster a climate of success by offering a vast array of services that assist students. The main campus of LCC includes approximately 200 acres of land.

The military building and Fort McIntosh, located on the Laredo Community College campus, are archaeological landmarks listed on the National Register of Historic Landmarks.

The Harold R. Yeary Library on the LCC campus is one of the largest libraries in the region, housing almost 87,000 bound volumes and receiving over 360 current periodical subscriptions.
