Lawrence University is a private, coeducational college located in Wisconsin's Fox Rover Valley. Founded in 1847 and accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, Lawrence University has been ranked among the top liberal arts colleges in the nation by U.S. News and World Report. It offers programs in the liberal arts and sciences along with a Conservatory of music.

The Bachelor of Arts program at Lawrence University includes more than 40 majors in liberal arts, languages, and natural and social sciences. Students can also earn a Bachelor of Music through the Lawrence Conservatory of Music, or pursue a five-year dual degree program leading to both a B.A. and a B.Mus. In addition, Lawrence University offers several cooperative degree programs with nearby universities and medical centers, including bachelor's programs in nursing and engineering, and master's programs in forestry, environmental management, and occupational therapy.

Lawrence University is an NCAA Division III school with nine women's teams and 12 men's teams. More than 90 percent of students live on campus. Lawrence University offers a wide range of clubs and organizations including Greek life, intramural sports, community service groups, and musical ensembles.
