Liaison College - Kitchener Campus, one of a 10-campus franchise throughout Ontario, trains students for a
Culinary Arts diploma. Students enrolled at
Liaison College - Kitchener Campus may choose from four diploma programs that include basic and advanced cooking, jospitality administration and a personal chef diploma.
The basic and advanced diploma programs take 15 weeks full-time and 38 weeks part-time to complete. The hospitality administration program is for students who want to learn skills to run and manage a full-service restaurant.
Liaison College - Kitchener Campus provides students who have close to 6,000 hours with a Red Seal Preparation Certificate and prepares them to take the exam that recognizes a journeyperson or apprentice who has successfully demonstrated knowledge in a trade through proven work experience.
Liaison College - Kitchener Campus also offers recreational cooking classes to the general public.

To become a certified chef, students must complete 6,000 hours of on-the-job practical work experience, which will include the 300 to 600 in school course hours at the Liaison College.
