Lincoln Trail College, one of four colleges in the Illinois Eastern community college District 529, offers associate degree and certificate programs in a wide variety of disciplines.

Associate degree programs are offered at Lincoln Trail College in information technology, nursing and nursing assistant training, corrections, horticulture, industrial management, computers, office management, paraprofessional education, and telecommunications. The general education requirements of these programs allow Lincoln Trail College students to transfer easily into many four-year colleges and universities. Certificates of completion are offered in a number of these areas, as well as in desktop publishing, health information management, manufacturing, Pharmacy Technician, and web design.

Lincoln Trail College has teamed up with Franklin University to offer students a unique opportunity to earn a bachelor degree. After completing an associate degree program (or an equal number of credits) at Lincoln Trail College, students may transfer the credits to Franklin University, where they can earn their bachelor degree by completing coursework online and at Lincoln Trail College. More than a dozen majors are available through this option, including accounting, business, computers, healthcare management, human resources management, information technology, marketing, and web design. Joint programs are also available among the business disciplines, offering students at Lincoln Trail College an even broader range of academic and career options.
