Linfield College is a private, coeducational, comprehensive college offering a liberal arts education with an international emphasis. Chartered in 1858, this Oregon Baptist college has been accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities since 1922 and is affiliated with the American Baptist Churches. Along with its main residential campus in McMinnville, Linfield College has a campus in Portland and a distance learning program for adult students.

Linfield College offers more than 40 academic majors leading to a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, or Bachelor of Science in nursing degree. Experiential learning is available through volunteer activities, off-campus education, and peer instruction.
