Lock Haven University is a public, coeducational university in Central Pennsylvania founded in 1870. Accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, this Pennsylvania Public university offers a wide range of degree programs with an emphasis on career preparation.

Students at Lock Haven University can choose from more than 75 undergraduate degree and certification programs, ranging from studio art to nanotechnology. Students can enrich their education with internship opportunities and study abroad programs in more than 20 countries. At the graduate level, Lock Haven University offers a Master of Education, Master of Health Science, and Master of liberal arts.
