Prospective students wishing to enroll in Long Beach City College must have a high school diploma or GED for all of the associate degree programs and most of the certificate and diploma programs; and should either have SAT or ACT scores. Students who have attended other colleges or universities must also provide a transcript from those schools. Most students who attend Long Beach City College are commuter students and there is no on-campus housing available on either campus. Staff at Long Beach City College might be able to provide students with suggested affordable housing around the campuses. Students wishing to study abroad can enroll in one of the study abroad programs through Long Beach City College.
