Prospective students wishing to enroll in Long Beach City College must have a high school diploma or GED for all of the associate degree programs and most of the certificate and diploma programs; and should either have SAT or ACT scores. Students who have attended other colleges or universities must also provide a transcript from those schools. Most students who attend Long Beach City College are commuter students and there is no on-campus housing available on either campus.
