Long Island beauty school has offered educational courses in hairdressing, Cosmetology, Nail Technology and waxing since 1941. Classes are available part-time and full-time, and days, evenings and Saturdays, at two Long Island locations.

In order to complete training in cosmetology, students at the Long Island beauty school must take 1,000 hours. Classes include: sanitation and sterilization; shampooing and rinses; hair analysis; scalp treatments; skin care and make-up; salon management; professional development; and chemistry.

Long Island beauty school courses are designed to provide students with state certification.
