Long Island business Institute is certified as an occupational college by the New York State Board of Regents. Students can pursue diploma and degree programs in accounting, business management, office technology and court reporting. The Long Island business Institute Institute awards an Associate of Occupational Studies degree in court reporting and offers certificate programs in court reporting and English as a second language.

The Flushing Branch Campus offers Associate of Occupational Studies degree programs in business management, accounting, and office technology with a medical office option and court reporting. In addition, diploma programs are offered in office technology and medical billing and insurance. A non-credit certificate program in English as a second language is also offered.

Students complete an Associates Degree Program in 16 months and the Diploma Programs in eight months.
