Long Island University at Riverhead, one of six campuses affiliated with Long Island University, is situated on the grounds of the Eastern Campus of Suffolk County Community College and is within easy reach of eastern Suffolk County and Long Island's North and South Forks. The Riverhead location offers ample student parking.

Long Island University at Riverhead offers master's degree programs in Homeland Security Management, Childhood education, Literacy Education and Teaching Students with Disabilities for working adults as well as traditional students. Evening and weekend courses are available for working students.

Students may also pursue a certificate of advanced study.
