Part of the Long Island University system, offers undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education courses to about 1,200 students. Small classes, plus a flexible schedule that offers classes in the evening and on weekends, make this a great place to spend the years of your academic career.

LIU Brentwood awards a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice. The school also offers graduate programs in education and public service, including counseling and development, curriculum and instruction, special education and literacy, criminal justice, business administration (MBA), and library and information science. Students wishing to continue their studies in criminal justice can opt for the Fast Track program, which allows them to earn their M.S. in Criminal Justice in only 20 months without having to take classes during the summer term.

Through the "LIU Plan," students are afforded not only academic support, but also career, financial, and personal advisement.
