Loraine's Academy is a private school specializing in vocational training in Cosmetology and related arts and sciences. Facilities include 8,250 square feet of classrooms, a clinic and offices.

Stations in the cosmetology clinic or laboratory area are equipped with new hydraulic styling chairs and power for irons and dryers. Other rooms contain fifteen to twenty manicure stations, a multi-bed skincare/massage clinic and separate classroom, a waxing center, adjustable pedicure stations, a private massage and facial clinic including a shower for SPA treatments, and a lighted makeup center.

Students receive supervised hands on training in an active clinic. Loraine's Academy offers an intensive basic training program and an extensive library featuring a full selection of current periodicals, books, and videotapes on every subject from hair extensions to ethnic cuts, and current styling updates.
