The Learning Center at Los Angeles Mission College offers free academic support to students. Tutoring is available in many subjects, and students can use the math, science, and writing labs to study alone or in groups. In 2007, Los Angeles Mission College broke ground on a $34 million Health and Physical Education Fitness Center. The new building will house ample space for exercise and fitness training, as well as classrooms, multipurpose rooms, locker rooms, and offices.
