Louisiana Community and Technical College System is one of the newest community college systems in the United States. The vision is to bring educational opportunities to all citizens of Louisiana. Because of the high quality programs and services offered by Louisiana's community and technical colleges, thousands of students graduate each year with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to improve their lives, careers, families, and communities.
The Louisiana Community and Technical College System offers degrees that help people move directly into the world of work, provides learning resources for students that need them, and prepares students to transfer to four-year colleges and universities. In addition to providing general education and workforce training curriculums, these Louisiana colleges of the Louisiana Community and Technical College System provide training and/or retraining for Louisiana's employees through the Incumbent Worker Training Program.
