Technical College system.
Louisiana Technical College offers four educational options: Associate of Applied Science (AAS), Technical Diploma (TD), Certificate of Technical Studies (CTS), and Technical Competency Area (TCA). These credentials are offered in dozens of disciplines, including
Aviation maintenance technology,
Cosmetology, masonry, and
nursing. Classroom hours combine with on-the-job experience to give students a great head start in their chosen careers.
Louisiana Technical College not only offers students the opportunity to begin fulfilling careers, but also the chance to rebuild their home state. A tuition-free program known as the Louisiana Construction Team allows students the one-of-a-kind opportunity to build a career while at the same time rebuilding the Gulf Coast that was ravaged by Hurricane Katrina.
