Luther seminary is a theological seminary affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran church in America. Formed in 1917 through the merger of three Norwegian Lutheran Churches, and accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, this Minnesota seminary prepares students for ministry.

Students at Luther Seminary can pursue a Master of Divinity, Master of Arts, Master of Sacred Music, Master of Social Work, or a Master of theology. At the doctoral level, Luther Seminary offers a Doctor of Philosophy and a Doctor of Ministry. Various majors and concentrations are offered within these degree programs, and students can enrich their education through cross-cultural education, off-site study, and internships.

Student life is centered on strengthening faith through worship, prayer, pastoral care, campus choir, and spiritual nourishment. Students can also attend lectures and chapel services on campus.
