Lynchburg College is an independent, coeducational, residential college founded in 1903 in covenant with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, this Virginia school offers a rigorous academic program with a focus on student leadership development through service.

Undergraduate students at Lynchburg College can choose from more than 35 majors in the fields of business, arts, sciences, education, health sciences, and humanities. More than a dozen pre-professional programs are available as well, along with professional programs in business, education, communication studies, and health sciences. At the graduate level, Lynchburg College offers a Master of Arts, Master of business Administration, and a Master of Education. Students are encouraged to supplement their education with internships, service learning, and study abroad.

Lynchburg College is an NCAA Division III school with eight men's teams, 10 women's teams, and a coed cheerleading team. Students can also participate in more than 90 organizations on campus including student government, publications, honor societies, religious groups, and intramural sports.
