state college is a public, coeducational college located in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom. Founded in 1911, and accredited by the New England Association of Schools & Colleges, LSC offers a hands-on education rooted in a strong
liberal arts foundation.
Students at Lyndon State College choose from two dozen undergraduate majors in the fields of
business,
technology, education,
fine arts,
liberal arts, natural sciences, and pre-professional programs. Some of the unique majors include new programs in animation and sustainability studies. At the graduate level, Lyndon State College offers a Master of Science for Teachers and a Master of Education.
Lyndon State College is an NCAA Division III school with six men's teams and five women's teams competing at the varsity level, along with a co-ed cross country team and club-level ice hockey and rugby. In addition, Lyndon State College offers more than 20 student organizations on campus, including intramural sports, service clubs, student media, and leadership opportunities.
