Lynn University is an independent, non-profit, coeducational university founded in 1962 and formerly known as the College of Boca Raton. Accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, this
Florida School offers a
liberal arts education with an emphasis on self-discovery.
Students at Lynn University can choose from more than 30 academic majors in the colleges of Arts & Sciences,
business & Management, Education, Hospitality Management, International Communication, Aeronautics, and the
Conservatory of Music. Students can pursue unique and specialized such as
Aviation management and multimedia journalism. Programs in general management, criminal justice, and psychology are offered online, and several weekend and accelerated degree programs are also available. At the graduate level, Lynn University offers a Master of Education, Master of Music, Master of Science, and Master of
business Administration, the majority of which can be completed online.
Lynn University is an NCAA Division II school with five men's teams and six women's teams competing at the varsity level. Students can also participate in more than 30 organizations on campus, including academic clubs, student government, Greek life, special interest groups, and religious organizations.
