Madisonville community college began its mission 35 years ago and it continues to be a leader in academic programs that provide excellent educational experiences and career training opportunities. Madisonville Community College serves one of the 16 districts in the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS). Madisonville Community College has four campuses conveniently located, making higher education more accessible to students pursuing academic goals and workforce training.

Madisonville Community College meets the needs of its diverse student body as well as its expansive service area. Community members are privy to educational and cultural experiences at Madisonville Community College. The Glema Mahr Center for the Arts at MCC was the first performing arts center to open in the KCTCS. Madisonville Community College provides educational experiences to middle school and high school students in the area through its TRIO Educational Talent Search and Upward Bound programs. Additionally, the Adult Centers for Educational Excellence at MCC provide remediation, basic skills training, and test preparation at no cost to the participants. Madisonville Community College, where higher education starts, proudly serves its students and community residents, starting them on the road to lifelong learning.
