Manchester College is a private, coeducational
liberal arts and sciences college affiliated with the Church of the Brethren. This affiliation has influenced the academic program, which is the first in the nation to offer an undergraduate
Peace studies program. This Indiana
business college has been ranked among the best colleges in the Midwest by
U.S. News & World Report and is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
Manchester College offers more than 55 areas of study leading to an Associate of Arts, Bachelor of Arts, or Bachelor of Science degree. Programs are offered in the arts, sciences,
business, education,
humanities, and pre-professional programs, or students may create an individualized major. Students can also choose to participate in the Honors Program or study abroad through the Brethren Colleges Abroad program.
Manchester College is an NCAA Division II school with nine men's teams and eight women's teams competing at the varsity level, along with a women's cheerleading team. In addition, up to 75 percent of students participate in the intramural sports program. Manchester College also offers more than 50 student organizations, and its students contribute 19,000 hours of service annually to the campus and community.
