Originally founded in 1841 as a women's Catholic College, Manhattanville College has since grown into a co-ed, non-denominational liberal arts college with a small, yet diverse campus right outside of New York City. This New York College has a dedicated faculty that works to stimulate the growth of each student intellectually, ethically, and socially, building a diverse community of creative and independent learners poised for a great future.

Manhattanville College offers dozens of undergraduate majors including academic writing, African studies, dance and theatre, music, psychology, sociology, and world religions. Graduate students can opt for flexible business programs offered in a one-weekend-per-month format in areas that include international management, sports business management, leadership, integrated marketing communication, and human resources. Manhattanville College also offers an MA in Liberal Arts, an MA in Writing, an MA in Teaching, and a Mater of Liberal Arts.
