Marian College of Fond du Lac is a coeducational, Catholic College founded by the sisters of St. Agnes in 1936. By the 1960s, ever increasing enrollment led to a move to its current location. Now, the college is a 104 acre campus located in the residential area of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, an hour away from Milwaukee, Madison, and Green Bay, cities where many Wisconsin residents work and play.

Marian College of Fond du Lac strives for academic success by emphasizing a value-based liberal arts education. With more than 40 majors and minors in liberal arts and preprofessional programs, undergraduates and those in the Adult Accelerated Program can choose a course of study from the Arts and Humanities, business Administration, School of Education, Mathematics and Natural Science, School of nursing, and Social and Behavorial Science. The college also offers master's degrees in Education, Organizational Leadership and Quality, Nursing and a doctorate program in Educational Administration and Leadership.

In response to students needs, Marian College of Fond du Lac built the Marian Courtyard, Todd Wehr Alumni Center, and the Common Grounds Coffee House, and in the early 2000s, the Stayer Center for Technology & Executive Learning and Smith Fields athletic and intramural complex was completed.

  • Marian College of Fond du Lac has an NCAA Division III men's basketball, baseball, golf, hockey, and soccer as well as women's basketball, softball, golf, soccer, tennis, and volleyball. Their teams have won more than 25 regular season games and 14 tournament titles.


  • In addition to the Fond du Lac campus, students attend courses in the Appleton and West Allis centers and other locations in Wisconsin, including Green Bay, Madison, and Wausau.


  • Over 90 percent of Marian College of Fond Du Lac students receive financial assistance in the form of scholarships, grants, loans, and work study.


  • The study abroad program allows students to study in more than 15 countries for an academic year, semester-long, summer, or from two to eight weeks as well as short-term language study, internship, and work abroad.


  • Marian's cooperative education combines classroom and work experience. Some majors can begin participating in the sophomore year.
