Maryville College is a four-year, private
liberal arts college located in Maryville, Tennessee, 15 minutes from Knoxville. Founded in 1819, Maryville College is the 12th oldest higher-learning institution in the South and one of the oldest among the 50 oldest colleges in the U.S. The college is rooted in the Presbyterian/Reform tradition and serves students with diverse backgrounds.
Maryville College has more than 50 areas of study, preprofessional programs in administration, law, theology/ministry, dentistry, veterinary medicine, physical therapy, and other health-related professions. Maryville confers degrees in Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Music, certification in elementary and secondary education, and dual degree programs in

Students can also participate in clubs and intramural sports.
Maryville is a residential college with facilities to accommodate each student's campus living needs. The residence halls include Beeson Village, Carnegie Hall, Copeland Hall, Court Street Apartments, Davis Hall, Gamble Hall, Lloyd Hall, and Pearsons Hall.
Maryville College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the National Association of Schools of Music.
