The oldest institution of higher education in Boston, the private Massachusetts college of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) also has campuses in Worcester, Massachusetts, and Manchester, New Hampshire.

Founded in 1823, Massachusetts college of Pharmacy and Health Sciences offer more than 30 innovative undergraduate, graduate, and professional degrees and certificate programs in the health sciences. MCPHS has the second-oldest collegiate pharmacy program in the United States with over 3,600 students and over 180 full-time faculty members.

MCPHS is one of the nation's few private, free-standing colleges that specialize in the education of health professionals. The college has prepared more men and women for professional careers in pharmacy than any other academic institution worldwide.
