Maui Culinary Academy, affiliated with Maui Community College (MCC), is located in a multimillion dollar, two-story, state of the art facility that consists of several specialty kitchens, a 375-seat food court, multimedia classrooms, meeting rooms and an upscale, full-service restaurant. Students can take classes in three specialty areas including Culinary Arts, baking, and restaurant supervision and pursue related certificates or an Associate in Applied Science degree.

Maui Culinary Academy curriculum blends traditional European training with Hawaii's various ethnic cuisines. The Hawaiian culinary academy features a computer classroom with workstations and culinary software applications that allow students to learn to use computer tools to facilitate menu layouts, recipe costing and nutritional analysis.

Lab requirements at Maui Culinary Academy include basic hand tools, knives, safety shoes, books, appropriate uniforms, proof of negative TB test, and compliance with food service personal hygiene code requirements.
