Maui School of Therapeutic Massage, located in an old-western style, two-story building, educates students to become licensed massage therapists. Students may choose to take the 650-hour program either as a full-time student for seven months or a part-time student for 12 months. The MSTM program prepares students for the National Certification Exam and the state licensing exam which is offered four times per year.

Classes at the Maui School of Therapeutic Massage are small with 20 to 30 students per class. The Hawaiian Massage School's programs include courses in anatomy and physiology, kinesiology, Swedish massage theory and practice, assessment and treatment of common conditions, neuromuscular therapy, hydrotherapy and spa treatments, wellness and stress management, therapeutic exercise, Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage, Shiatsu, reflexology, sports massage, deep tissue massage, body-mind integration and clinical massage practice.

The Maui School of Therapeutic Massage also offers an 800-hour advanced certification program, consisting of 150 hours of advanced training study and clinical practice.

Maui School of Therapeutic Massage is licensed as a private vocational school by the Hawaii State Department of Education and approved by the Hawaii Board of massage therapy. MSTM is a member of the American Massage Therapists Association Council of Schools and of the International Massage Association.

Percentage grades are given to the anatomy, massage technique, assessment, treatment of common conditions, and neuromuscular therapy courses at the Maui School of Therapeutic Massage. All other courses are graded "pass" or "fail".
