medical career school offers a certification program for Limited Permit X-Ray Technician in the scope of chest, extremities and torso-skeleton.
Classes at the Medical Career College of Northern California are held every other Saturday for eight hours for 10 months. Licensed graduates of the Medical Career College of Northern California are hired by urgent care clinics, physician's offices with x-ray facilities, many orthopedic offices, workman's compensation clinics or any facility where skeletal films are needed.
The externship portion of the program usually begins towards the end of the second semester.
Quick Facts
Students must complete all areas of the program with a cumulative GPA of 70 percent or better and satisfactory completion of the externship program in an approved medical facility.
The California medical career college has plans of instituting a medical assisting program and a surgical technician program in the near future.
