Memorial University of Newfoundland is the largest university in Atlantic canada, with more than 100 degree programs. Memorial's researchers are dynamic and talented and explore all disciplines including science, medicine, arts, social sciences, engineering, education and business.

Memorial is located in Newfoundland and Labrador, with two campuses in St. John's, including the Marine Institute, which is Canada's leading center of fisheries and marine training. It also has a campus in Corner Brook, called Sir Wilfred Grenfell College and a fourth campus in Harlow, England, midway between London and Cambridge.

The Newfoundland university's motto is, "Provehito in Altum" (Launch forth into the deep), urges students to challenge themselves and embrace the adventure of learning.
