Mercer University is a faith-based Georgia university of higher learning that seeks to achieve excellence and scholarly discipline in the fields of liberal arts and professional knowledge. Mercer University encourages students to participate in learning experiences outside of the classroom. undergraduate students may choose from more than 100 student organizations, including 17 fraternities and sororities, several academic, pre-professional and religious organizations and other special-interest groups. The Student Government Association works closely with administrators and faculty to represent student interests and issues.
